ADICA INTERNAL REGULATIONS FOR THE ADMISSION OF NEW MEMBERS

Admission requirements:

In broad terms, ADICA's admission requirements are consistent with those of other similar associations in the world, particularly with respect to the required place of residence, the need to certify a proven experience as a professional interpreter with a given number of days worked under ADICA conditions, and the requirement that candidates be presented and sponsored by ADICA members. Admission requests are always considered on a case-by-case basis and are submitted before the Ethics and Admissions Committee. This Committe, in turn, presents its recommendation to the Managing Committee. However, the final decision as to whether any application is approved or rejected is made by the Managing Committee.
We request that all people interested in becoming ADICA members visit our site in the next 60 to 90 days, by which time the new Internal Regulations for the Admission of New Members, which are being amended at the moment, will be in force.
